Ceiling Painting

Ceiling painting in Utah County and Salt Lake County. Flat white ceiling paint applied after repairs — consistent coverage with no roller marks. Call (720) 885-2838.

About This Service

Painting a ceiling correctly requires different techniques than painting walls — flat sheen to avoid light reflection, a specific roller nap to prevent marks, and feathered edges before the paint starts to dry. After ceiling drywall repairs, we apply stain-blocking primer on the repair zone to prevent tannin bleed-through, then apply flat white ceiling paint with even coverage and clean edges at walls.

Our Process

01

Stage for Ceiling Access

Proper staging is set up for safe ceiling access — scaffolding or extension roller for high ceilings.

02

Protect the Room

Floors, furniture, and walls are protected from overspray and drips.

03

Stain-Block Prime

Repaired ceiling areas are primed with stain-blocking primer before finish paint.

04

Cut the Edges

Wall-to-ceiling line is cut cleanly with a brush before rolling.

05

Roll the Ceiling

Flat ceiling paint applied with a 3/4" nap roller in overlapping passes — no visible roller lines on completion.
