Step by Step

Our 4-Step Repair Process

From first contact to flawless walls — here's how it works.

Step 01

Request Estimate

Call, text, or fill out our online form to request a free estimate. You can send us photos of the damage for a quick quote, or schedule an in-person assessment. We respond quickly — usually within a few hours during business hours.

Step 02

Schedule Repair

Once you approve the estimate, we schedule the repair at a time that works for you. Same-day and next-day appointments are available for most repairs. We'll confirm the date and provide a time window so you know exactly when to expect us.

Step 03

Professional Repair

Our technician arrives on time, protects the surrounding area, and completes the repair using professional-grade materials. Every job includes compound application, sanding, texture matching, and color-matched paint — typically completed in a single visit.

Step 04

Clean Finish

Before we leave, we clean up the work area, do a final walk-through with you, and make sure you're completely satisfied with the results. Your walls look flawless — like the damage never happened.

Before Your Appointment

How to Prepare for Your Repair Visit

A little preparation helps us work more efficiently and protects your belongings. Here's how to get ready for your drywall repair appointment:

  • Clear furniture and wall decorations at least 3 feet from the repair area
  • Remove fragile items from nearby shelves and surfaces
  • Note all problem spots you want addressed — we'll inspect during our visit
  • If you have leftover paint from the original job, have it ready for a perfect color match
  • Ensure the repair area is accessible — unlock gates, clear pathways
  • Pets should be secured in another room during the repair for their safety

What We Handle

You don't need to do any construction prep — that's our job. We bring all materials, tools, and protective coverings. We protect your floors, furniture, and surrounding walls before any work begins.

If you're unsure about anything, just ask when we arrive. We're happy to walk through the plan with you before we start.

Setting Expectations

Texture & Paint Matching

We take great pride in matching your existing wall and ceiling textures as closely as possible. Whether your home has knockdown, orange peel, smooth, or popcorn texture, we recreate it by hand to blend seamlessly with the surrounding surface.

However, it's important to understand that an exact texture match is not always possible. Variations in the original application technique, the age of the existing texture, and differences in materials can all affect the final result. In most cases, the match is invisible to the eye — but under certain lighting conditions, minor differences may be noticeable.

Paint matching follows similar principles. We color-match on site and apply paint to blend the repaired area. Factors like lighting, paint aging, multiple previous coats, and paint batch variations can cause slight differences between old and new. For the best possible result, we recommend repainting the full wall or room after repairs.

Tips for Better Matching

  • Keep leftover paint from the original job — it's the best way to ensure a perfect color match
  • Note the brand and color code if you remember it — we can source the exact formula
  • If you plan to repaint the room anyway, let us know — we can focus on the repair finish and skip paint matching
  • Texture matching improves as it dries — wait 24–48 hours before evaluating the final result
  • Lighting changes everything — check the repair under both natural and artificial light

After the Repair

What Happens After Your Repair

When the repair is complete, we don't just pack up and leave. We take the time to make sure everything is perfect and you understand what to expect as materials cure.

  • We do a final walk-through with you to inspect the completed work
  • The work area is cleaned and all materials are removed from your home
  • Freshly applied paint may take 24–48 hours to fully cure — avoid touching or cleaning the repaired area during this time
  • Texture may appear slightly different when wet; it blends completely as it dries
  • We recommend waiting 2 weeks before hanging anything on a newly repaired wall
  • If you notice any concerns within the 3-month warranty period, contact us and we'll make it right

3-Month Workmanship Warranty

Every repair by Immaculate Drywall Repair is backed by a 3-month workmanship warranty. If you notice any defects in our craftsmanship — such as cracking, bubbling, or peeling of repaired areas that result from our work — contact us within the warranty period and we'll make it right at no additional cost.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by water intrusion, structural settling, homeowner or third-party damage, or normal wear and tear.

To make a warranty claim, simply call or text us at (720) 885-2838 with a description of the issue. We'll schedule a follow-up visit promptly.
